42nd Overall, 1st British boat ILCA 6 Youth Worlds Aarhus, Denmark 🇩🇰
Not the event I hoped for in Denmark, a unique style of shifty breeze threw me (and many of the other Brits) off the ball in qualifying. This meant I scraped into gold but in the 2nd part of the event I moved up over 35 places once in gold fleet showing myself that I can still race well. Not how I wanted to end my ILCA 6 career but still an enjoyable event with lots of learnings never the less. Onwards and upwards. Next up: Oxford University then 🇦🇺🦘

Kiel Week 2026 - First ever senior event with lots of learnings in a very light wind regatta. It was a shame to only get 5 races but brilliant to see just how much there is still to learn.

I’m super pleased with my first nationals in the 7, it was a varied week in mostly flat water which provided super challenging racing. I was able to find some consistency over the week which slowly moved me up over the 14 race series. Lots of learnings taken as well from this tight racing, next up 🇩🇰.

I was thrilled to come away with a strong result after an incredibly hard and mixed week at hayling, we had wind from all across the range and many one-of-a-kind days on the water. It was great to line up in such a tight fleet and see the winters work pay off. Solid job by @samgrayton piping me on the last day after a tight battle all week. Thanks to @oli.yates1 @performance_sailcraft_europe @britishsailingpathway @gp_watercraft_ @talentedathleteuk @uos_southamptonsport and @psa_sailing for supporting me

A solid day of racing to kick off the qualifier season with consistency being key in a shortened 3 race series. Super good to put the weight gain to use in races 2&3. We go again next weekend

New boat bits 👀👀

For this qualifier season I have finally got around to upgrading my boat, using a new tiller and tiller extension from @cfbylandl which I am loving for its strong grip and a modern all white design on the tiller (if you know you know)
.
I’m also using the all new Harken kicker system with the new base, twisle middle block, and new super secure kicker key. This has made my kicker notably smoother compared to the old Harken block.

U21 World Championships 2026 - Lanzerote - 4th in Silver, 52nd overall, 15th U19 and 3rd British boat
Honestly a pretty terrible event for me but at least I have many other events to prove myself. A combination of stupid decisions, a misbehaving compass (only discovered later in the week) and some bad luck put me in silver fleet where I felt I did not belong. I pushed through the later part of the week taking learnings where I can and coming 4th in silver showing myself that I am better than this.

I can’t wait to be back stronger in Kiel

2025✅ A long season of highs and lows has finally come to an end, with 4 major championships and over 3000km of cycling. I’ve learnt so much on the water, made so many great friends off the water and had an amazing time doing it. Bring on 2026

Euromed 2025 - 🥈U19 and 10th overall
I had a great week racing and training in Malta for Euromed this year, a super high level fleet and some varied conditions made for tricky but rewarding racing, a highlight definitely being a race win in the last race. Great to make these last bits of progress before Lanzerote in January for u21 worlds.

67/160 26th U19 @ U21 Euros: Split, Croatia 🇭🇷. Amazing to come gold fleet in the ILCA 7 after just 2 months in the boat and lacking a substantial amount of weight.

Although the light wind and stunning venue of Split forgot to be light winds I pushed as hard as I could to climb despite missing a day of sailing. Also good to refocus after missing out on the main season goal of ISAF’s

🇬🇧 Nationals ‘25 5️⃣ Overall 🥉U19. A long event with lots of waiting around in tricky conditions which seemed to poke holes right through my sailing. Despite selection pressure and an early UFD, I pushed through, climbing each day, before a last ditch attempt to climb some more with some match racing on the final day.
Time to start using a bigger sail…

21st in the World. ILCA 6 Youth world championships at the future Olympic venue in LA 🇺🇸🇺🇸, 1st British boat 🇬🇧
If you had told me just over 2 years ago when I did my first ILCA international that I would come 21st and be disappointed, I would have laughed. But that is the situation I find myself in now, after a challenging week of high scores at the most simple yet utterly confusing venue I have ever sailed in, I find myself with so much potential yet falling flat in the early parts of races. Many lessons taken and many weaknesses exposed I start to look to the ILCA 7 as we keep pushing onwards and upwards.
None of this would have been possible without the support of @oli.yates1 , making it all happen and being there no matter what; Ali Young, my coach for the winter pushing me come rain or shine; @chinsell_coaching for support at this event. And @performance_sailcraft_europe for helping have a rapid boat with simple maintenance.

A long and tough 10 days of straight racing in Kiel with predominantly offshore conditions with random shifts playing a massive part of racing where the ability to recover was as important as the ability to maintain.

29th in Europe and 1st Brit at @vilamourasailing E

29th in Europe and 1st Brit at @vilamourasailing European Championships.
A breezy event in a not so sunny vilamoura played host to a 360 boat championship, I had a consistent start to the week racking up 5 top 10’s from 6 races showing the benefits of this winters 4000km of cycling.
Once I got into gold fleet in 15th position the different style of racing caught me off guard on the first day but I quickly found my footing again to end day 5 with a 3rd in a race. And after a breezy and shifty last 2 races I finished in 29th overall, slightly below where I hoped for but a good result nevertheless, and my @psa_sailing hull felt great for the entire week helping me fly round the course

🥇Male 🥇U19 4️⃣ Overall - the gap slowly closing to the British Sailing Team Girls, a solid weekend in a chilly and shifty Weymouth racing domestically again against a fleet of 92 ILCA 6’s, it was great to put all of the winters training into practice and to give myself that last bit of motivation coming into euros.
We go again in a weeks time but hopefully in the bay and with @tractrac.live gps
